Whiteman AFB is a United States Air Force installation in Johnson County, Missouri. It serves as the home base for the 509th Bomb Wing, which operates the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. Established during World War II, Whiteman AFB has evolved over the decades, supporting various aircraft and missions.
